Bara Hladik, BA, R.Ac, is a Registered Acupuncturist of British Columbia. Bara was raised at the climbing gym her dad opened in Nelson, BC in 1991 and brings her knowledge from years as a climbing instructor and tai chi, qi gong and yoga practitioner into her practice to support your training and recovery. She is certified in Level 2 Balance Acupuncture and is pursuing advanced acupuncture studies in Sports Medicine and Neuro-Acupuncture. She has a BA from the University of British Columbia where she studied health and disability research.
Bara’s practice is informed by evidence-based research and incorporates orthopedic acupressure techniques, electroacupuncture and infrared and cupping therapies. Her gentle needling technique and treatment plans support recovery from pain, injury, stress, illness, digestive conditions and more. She is particularly passionate about pelvic and spinal health, complex injury and pain, as well as brain and mental health.
