Dr. Sam Jang-Stewart is an emergency medicine physician with a special interest in sport and exercise medicine. She grew up in Calgary and moved around the US and Canada before settling in Vancouver. She completed residency training in Halifax at Dalhousie University, where she obtained the FRCPC in Emergency Medicine and the Canadian Association of Sport and Exercise Medicine Diploma. She currently works at Progression Clinic in Mount Pleasant and at the Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster. She loves to help climbers of all abilities take advantage of the healing period of sport injuries to both recover and get stronger. Outside of work, she loves projecting overhanging sport climbing routes, especially if her dog can be there too!
